Frequently Asked Questions

Will it hurt?

In short, yes. All tattoos hurt in some capacity, in all placements. My advice is to worry less about the pain and more about placement and longevity. Don’t move it or make it smaller with the thought that it will hurt less if you do.

Are your books open?

Yes. I do not close my books. I am able to do this by only taking projects that align with my style. I tend to book out 2 to 3 months. Weekends always book the fastest.

How should I prepare for my tattoo?

It is always best to come to your appointment well rested and after eating a well balanced, filling, meal. Be sure to avoid any bloodthiners unless prescribed by your Dr. Avoid drinking alcohol at least 24hrs prior to your appointment. Avoid applying lotion for at least 24 hrs before. Do not get tattooed if you are feeling sick or off.

Should I tip my artist?

I get this question a lot. The answer is if you want to! We never expect tips, but they are always appreciated. When tipping it is common practice to use the percentage you old for any other luxury service, such as hair or nails.

What should I avoid after getting tattooed?

You want to avoid excessive sun, soaking in any body of water (including bathtubs), picking any flaking, exfoliating, restrictive clothing, and dry healing. Please allow at least 2 weeks before resuming any of the above mentioned activities.

Do you take walk ins?

Yes I do. I take them every Saturday from 12-6. I also take them any day that I am finished with my appointment early enough. It is always best to call the studio to check ahead of time.

Do you travel?

Yes! I love to travel for conventions and guest spots. All my travel dates are always listed on my instagram. To book an appointment for one of my travel dates simply submit the request form like you would any other tattoo request!

What kind of products do you use?

I use Electrum Ink exclusively. Electrum is Vegan, and cruelty free. It is made from Pure pigment with no fillers!

Each tattoo is made using 1 time use only pre-packaged and sterilized cartridge needles. The needles are made from 3-16L stainless steel precision sharpened by machine.

I use a Vegan and cruelty free skin glide during all tattoos to keep skin happy and to cause less trauma to the area.

All tattoos are bandaged with Recovery Dermshield unless you are sensitive to the wrap.
